About Us

Military Civilian Experience

was established to help military members obtain civilian career work experience of their choice, for their resume, prior to them leaving military service. We help service members of all rates and ranks.

Of course we can’t do it alone. If you know an active duty service member who maybe interested in earning civilian career work experience now before leaving active duty, please email this page to them and lets get those service members started on the path to that much needed, valuable  job experience right now.

A percentage of our military has to rely on food stamps in order to feed their families. Some need them but don’t even qualify for food stamps. To us here at MilCivEx any percentage of our military families on food stamps should be intolerable and frowned upon by our entire nation. Please help get our troops trained so when they do decide to depart from military service any form of government assistance will never have to be an option. For the families currently on assistance we want it to be a temporary solution instead of a long term liability.

We don’t exist just for the families that are using food stamps or the families that fall in the cracks, we want to better every military member for the reason that, if we better the service member, the families will benefit as well.

As Americans we insist that our troops be well trained before they arrive on the battlefield; so why should it stop there? Why can’t they be prepared the same way before they step into the civilian career arena?

We want to give active duty service members a head start when it comes to career work experience. MilCivEx wants to give them the chance to earn that valuable career experience now before they leave the military for civilian life. Employers want applicants with experience. They don’t want to wait until you get it.

You can help if you have a sponsorship program, internship, OJT, mentor, or a volunteer program any of these will provide a military member with a great opportunity. So please, let us show our troops how much America really cares for them.

Why we do what we do? Because we believe our military men and women should be able to have – no deserve to have an opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience in a career field that they have selected whether they have a college degree or not and get that priceless experience now before they actually leave active duty service. We believe this will allow for a much smoother transition to civilian life for our brave men and women and their families who have sacrificed so much for our country.
